Solution Sales Professional

You will build and maintain relationships with our account teams and with our customers, influence long-term strategic direction and leverage Capgemini as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level, senior LoB stakeholders and (IT) architects.

Your challenge

The role of senior solution sales professional is within our Capgemini Insights & Data organization. The primary focus of the role is to deliver on the key strategic focus of new Insights & Data business acquisition in the industry by identifying, qualifying, and driving new business and follow on business, as well teaming with other Capgemini services lines and industry partners to accelerate acquisition.

You will build and maintain relationships with our account teams and with our customers, influence long-term strategic direction and leverage Capgemini as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level, senior LoB stakeholders and (IT) architects. You will help customers evaluate our Insights & Data professional services and solution offerings, recommend solutions that meet our customers’ requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

Own growth: achieve your yearly commercial targets in selling new portfolio business to our customers in the industry, herewith growing our revenues and share of wallet.

Account teaming: drive close co-operation with account managers, co-author and co-owner of account plans, build strong and prosperous relationships, build bridges across business lines to help maximize customer value. 

Disciplined business-management; adaptable to a culture of accountability; build a strong and active business network with clients and peers; relentless focus on achieving sales targets and adhere to quality standards.

Your qualifications

  • Solid experience: 5 - 7 years’ experience in selling solutions, consulting and/or professional services to large/global enterprise customers, with a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities - required;
  • Effective account management: planning, opportunity creation and qualification, stakeholder and executive communication needs analysis, solution/value engineering, opportunity management, pipeline management, and deal shaping/negotiation, collaboration for success - required;
  • Expert deal shaper: thorough understanding of digital transformation by leveraging solutions in areas like artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, big data management, and data engineering, to help our clients drive impact and achieve valuable differentiation with data. Requires the ability to engage with senior client stakeholders in constructive dialogues, being able to articulate clearly and convince about the added value of our solutions and services. Help resolve clients’ impediments using our solutions and services. Solid understanding of the competitive landscape and partner-ecosystem – required;
  • Executive presence: experience and expertise selling to business/technical decision makers & enterprise solution architects by aligning & reinforcing the value of our solutions and services to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria - preferred;
  • Size. Experience in leading large deals especially those involving transformation of clients’ data ecosystems and the way they drive impact with data – preferred.
